It’s official…… I have finally become a BAG LADY! For the last few weeks I ‘ve been getting a lot of enjoyment creating “Gypsy Queen Bohemian Handbags”. I love the process of design, technique and layering lots of sequined material, trims and fringe, into something that is actually useful, as well as beautiful.
I’m grateful to my (accommodating) friend Leah, who modelled some finished handbags, so I could take a few pictures for my blog:
There’s more sparkle to these than the photos show.
This one may be a bit “busy” but it suits my “GYPSY QUEEN HANDBAG” label.
Barely had this one finished….my daughter Kim liked it so much…..so now she has it! She’ll be a good walking advertisement, if I decide to sell them later on.
I’ve made about a dozen bags so far, and since I am ankle deep in fabric and trim, I am sure there will be more to come!
